Rationale
Sinecoat is a web based app designed to assist those who are serious about developing a deeper understanding of the exact nature of their Blood Pressure over an extended time period. The acquired data is useful for assessing an individuals medication requirements or in judging the effectiveness of a particular treatment regime.
Features
Sinecoat enables registered members to record their daily BP readings, with each consisting of up to three separate sub-readings, for any length of time and to edit or delete previous readings as required. Data sharing is a key feature of Sinecoat, it enables a member's administrator, normally their health care provider, to access their data and monitor their progress from a remote location.
Registration
To register as a Sinecoat member a person must first be provided with a registration token by a pre-ordained administrator. The token will be sent from this web app by that administrator to the person's email address together with instructions on how to complete the registration process.
Once a person has registered both they and their administrator (and only that administrator) can view their data.
Exchange
Bulk Blood Pressure readings can be imported into Sinecoat from CSV (comma separated value) files using its Exchange functionality.
An example of a valid Sincecoat compatible CSV file is shown below:
In the above file:
* These values are required, importation will only proceed correctly if they are present and properly formatted, all other values are optional.
Entries in a CSV file that match the date of existing readings in the database are not imported
Sinecoat exports its data in the same format as shown above, if required the exported data can itself be imported into a spreadsheet or any other application that accepts CSV formatted data.
